What the CraftX Beer Subscription Was
Every month, CraftX shipped a box of 12 craft beers built around two rotating breweries. Before each shipment, members picked between two styles from each brewery — six cans per brewery minimum, mixed and matched however they liked. Boxes went out on the first Monday of the month, and CraftX said it kept only about a week between canning and delivery so the beer arrived fresh. Everything shipped in cans rather than bottles, on the idea that beer travels and tastes better that way.
Because it was alcohol, deliveries needed an adult signature — worth remembering if you’re used to packages just getting left on the porch. Members generally had it shipped to an office or planned to be home for the delivery window.
CraftX never had a coupon field at checkout. Instead, the first 500 subscribers who signed up through a referral link got $10 off each month, which worked out to $30 off across the 3-month subscription CraftX sold at the time. That’s a common structure for subscription-box startups — the “code” is really just a tracked link, which is also why the discount stops working the moment the company behind it goes offline.

Where Things Stand Now
- The domain CraftX used to sell on no longer shows any beer, subscription, or checkout content — it currently displays an unrelated Japan bus-tour business, which points to the domain being repurposed or abandoned.
- What public information we could find about CraftX describes it in the past tense, as a beer-subscription company “co-founded in 2016,” with nothing current — no active pricing page, no recent reviews, no social presence we could confirm as active.
- We couldn’t find a formal shutdown announcement with a specific date, so we’re treating “no longer operating” as the most recent confirmed status rather than pinning an exact closure date.

We don’t currently have a live craft-beer subscription box in our catalog with a working discount link — a couple we’d normally suggest have also gone quiet. If you’re after wine instead, our wine subscription coverage is still active and worth a look.

How the CraftX Discount Worked
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the CraftX $30 discount still work?
No, not as far as we can confirm. The referral link that used to apply it now leads to a site with no beer subscription of any kind.
Is CraftX still shipping beer boxes?
We found no evidence that it is. The domain it operated on has been repurposed for unrelated content, and there’s no current membership or pricing page anywhere we could find.
What did a CraftX box include?
12 cans of craft beer each month, split between two rotating breweries, with members choosing between two styles per brewery ahead of shipping.
Is there a promo code page for CraftX?
Yes — see our CraftX promo code page for the short version of this same update.
