Is Whistle Still Around?
We couldn’t find a live Whistle offer anywhere. Three separate checks all point to discontinued: whistle.com now 301-redirects visitors straight to Tractive, a competing GPS pet-tracker brand, with no mention of Whistle, Mars Petcare, or any acquisition on the page it lands on; the Whistle app no longer shows up under that name in either the App Store or Google Play; and Whistle’s own referral-link domain (the one our $20 offer ran through) doesn’t resolve at all anymore. We haven’t seen an official shutdown notice from Mars Petcare (Whistle’s owner), but a dead site, a delisted app, and a dead tracker link is about as clear a signal as we get without one.
Whistle’s pitch was GPS + cellular tracking that worked up to a few thousand miles from home — a real advantage over the short-range Bluetooth trackers most competitors sold — plus safe-zone alerts if your dog wandered off. If you’re shopping for a replacement, that GPS-plus-cellular distinction is still the main thing to check for, since plenty of cheaper trackers on the market today are still Bluetooth-only and only useful nearby.
We don’t currently have a working affiliate link for a pet GPS tracker to send you to, so we’re not going to pretend otherwise with a dead-end code. For what it’s worth, whistle.com itself now redirects to Tractive, a GPS + cellular dog and cat tracker brand — we’re mentioning it because it’s where Whistle’s own domain sends people, not because we have a deal with them or can vouch for their pricing. Compare a couple of current GPS pet trackers directly before buying; look at subscription cost (most, including Whistle before it, require an ongoing plan on top of the hardware price) as much as the device price itself.
Affiliate disclosure: couponsuck.com may earn a commission on purchases made through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. This page currently has no working affiliate link for a pet tracker.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Whistle $20 discount code still work?
We can’t verify that it does. Whistle’s own referral-link domain no longer resolves, and whistle.com itself now redirects to a different company entirely, so there’s nothing left for a discount to apply to.
Did Mars Petcare shut down Whistle?
We haven’t found an official announcement either way. What we can confirm is that whistle.com redirects to a competitor’s site, the app is off both app stores, and Whistle’s referral tracker is dead — consistent with the product line being discontinued, even without a public statement.
What should I buy instead of a Whistle tracker?
We don’t have a verified affiliate deal to point you to right now. Whistle’s own domain redirects to Tractive if you want a starting point, but shop around and compare current GPS + cellular trackers and their subscription costs before deciding.
When was this checked?
We checked whistle.com, the App Store, Google Play, and Whistle’s own referral link in July 2026. If Whistle relaunches with a working offer, let us know and we’ll update this page.
