What Is ShopBack?
ShopBack is a free cash back service. You start at its app, website or browser extension, click through to a store and pay as usual, and part of what you spend comes back as money you can send to PayPal or a US bank. At last check, Target paid 2% on clothing, health and beauty and a few other categories, Sephora paid 3%, and Nike was boosted from 2% to 9%.

How to Use ShopBack Referral Code imVdnn
Tap the claim button at the top of this page. On a computer, it opens ShopBack with the code filled in, and you should see “Referral Code Applied” with the $15.00 bonus.
If you sign up in the app, enter the code yourself. Tap Sign Up, then “I have a referral or reward code”, and type imVdnn before you tap Create a New Account.

Use a phone or computer no other ShopBack member has signed up on. ShopBack requires a unique device, so someone else’s account on your laptop could cost you the bonus.
Buy something through ShopBack within 180 days. The stores listed in the fine print below don’t count, and neither does any order that doesn’t earn cash back.
Add your PayPal or bank details. You need these as well as the purchase, and the bonus stays pending until you’ve done both.
What We Verified
On November 5, 2026, we opened ShopBack’s sign-up page with imVdnn and it said “Referral Code Applied”, with a $15.00 bonus. Changing one letter brought back the blank code box, and so did typing the code in all capitals or all lowercase. The spending rules, excluded stores and store rates come from ShopBack’s own terms, help center and store pages on the same day.
We haven’t finished a sign-up or withdrawn a bonus, so we can’t tell you which of ShopBack’s spending rules it enforces. Some deal trackers report a stricter test of $15 in confirmed cash back, which we couldn’t confirm from any ShopBack page. We also couldn’t test our link inside the mobile app, which is why it’s worth checking for the code before you finish. ShopBack doesn’t publish an end date, and bonus amounts have moved this year, so go by the amount on your sign-up screen. Coupon sites list other ShopBack codes. We haven’t tested those, so we can’t say whether they work.
ShopBack Fine Print Before You Join
- These stores don’t count toward the bonus: Amazon, Udemy, Prime Survey, CPX Surveys, HelloFresh, Factor, Green Chef, PureVPN, NordVPN, Ubisoft and Kinguin. ShopBack’s guides say Amazon isn’t on its US service right now anyway.
- Keep your first purchase simple. It can’t be stacked with another new-customer promotion. We’d skip ShopBack’s new-customer offers, like Uber Eats or DoorDash, for that first order.
- Canceled or returned orders don’t count. If a return drops you under the spending rule, you’ll need another purchase.
- One account per person. Each mobile number and each PayPal or bank account can be linked to just one ShopBack account.
- US members only. You need to be 18 or older and live in one of the 50 states or Washington, D.C.

How Much You Have to Spend to Get the $15
Plan on about $250 at a 2% store, or less at a higher rate, because that covers the strictest rule ShopBack publishes. Its Refer-a-Friend terms ask for $10 of qualifying spending. Its help center asks for a $5 purchase, then says you can withdraw a referral bonus once you have $5 of confirmed cash back that isn’t a bonus. Its withdrawal page sets a $10 minimum, which the $15 clears on its own.
The $5 rule is the expensive one. At Target’s 2%, earning $5 means spending $250 on eligible items, and that would put $20 in your account including the bonus. A $10 order at the same rate earns 20 cents. If you want to reach $5 faster, look for a boosted store. Chewy was paying 6% at last check, double its usual 3%, so about $84 would do it.
Leave yourself time, too. You have 180 days from sign-up to meet the requirements, and ShopBack’s store pages put confirmation at 45 days for DoorDash, 75 for Best Buy and 90 for Target. The terms don’t clearly say whether a purchase has to be confirmed inside those 180 days, so the cautious move is to buy in your first two months.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add the code after I’ve signed up?
We couldn’t find a way to. ShopBack’s help center says friends who miss out usually didn’t use the link or apply the code when they created the account, so enter it before you finish.
Why won’t imVdnn work?
Check the capitals first: a lowercase i, a capital V, and the rest lowercase. Copy it with the button at the top of this page if you can.
Can I use store coupon codes with ShopBack?
Use the ones listed on that store’s ShopBack page. A code from anywhere else, this site included, can cost you the cash back at some stores, so check the store’s rules first.
What does the person who shared the code get?
A referral bonus once you qualify. ShopBack’s public pages don’t say how much.
Is ShopBack worth it?
For the $15, yes, if you’d spend about $250 at 2% stores anyway, or less at higher rates, and can wait about three months.
