What Happened to Wine Awesomeness?
Wine Awesomeness was a monthly wine subscription: 3 bottles a month (red, white, or a variety pack) for around $45, with a referral program that gave new members a free month. Somewhere along the way the brand’s domain got folded into Wine Insiders — visiting WineAwesomeness.com today lands you on a Wine Insiders landing page with zero mention of the original company, and the Talkable referral link we used to send readers to now shows a plain “link expired” message.
We haven’t independently confirmed the corporate mechanics of what happened (acquisition, quiet wind-down, or something else), so we’re not going to guess. What we can say honestly: the Wine Awesomeness Coupon Code and referral program we used to send readers to no longer works, so we’re not sending anyone into a dead link.
Naked Wines is the closest thing we still actively recommend in this space, and it’s a service we’ve used for years — a membership wine club that funds independent winemakers directly and sells you their wine at a steep discount off retail. Sign up through this link and $100 in credit lands on your account automatically, at last check, no code to type in.

Our Original Wine Awesomeness Review (Archived)
For the record, here’s what we thought back when Wine Awesomeness was still operating — kept here because a few of you have told us you still want the old review, and because it explains what the brand actually was for anyone researching it historically.
- The delivery presentation was genuinely fun — each shipment came with a booklet on the wines and winemakers, which made it feel more like an event than a grocery run.
- Wine quality was solid but uneven: several reds we loved, a couple that were just okay, and whites that were fine but not our favorite. We ended up sticking to reds-only subscriptions.
- At roughly $15 a bottle, pricing was fair for a curated, delivered subscription.
If that style of curated, story-driven wine subscription is what appealed to you about Wine Awesomeness, Winc and VineBox are two other subscription-style options we still track and recommend — both are confirmed operating as of this writing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Wine Awesomeness Coupon Code still work?
No. As of July 2026 the referral link is expired and the brand’s own website redirects to Wine Insiders. We’re not aware of a working Wine Awesomeness deal right now.
Is Wine Awesomeness the same company as Wine Insiders?
We don’t know the exact corporate story, but WineAwesomeness.com now forwards visitors straight to a Wine Insiders page, with no Wine Awesomeness branding remaining on the site.
What’s a good replacement for Wine Awesomeness?
We recommend Naked Wines for the $100 new-member credit and the winemaker-funding model. Winc and VineBox are also still active if you want a more traditional curated subscription box.
