TotSpot Shut Down,
ThredUp Still Resells
Kids' Clothes.

TotSpot Promo Code

TotSpot — the app for buying and selling kids’ clothing — is discontinued. Our code CFZCMD was good for $5 off, but there’s no working TotSpot app left to redeem it in: it’s gone from both the App Store and Google Play, and the brand’s own domains now just bounce visitors to a parking page. TotSpot was actually acquired by Poshmark back in 2016, though what’s live today under Poshmark isn’t a continuation of the standalone TotSpot app. If you’re looking for secondhand kids’ clothes right now, ThredUp is the resale marketplace we’d point you to instead.

What Happened to TotSpot?

TotSpot was a free app for buying and selling gently used kids’ clothing — parents listed outgrown outfits, other parents scored good deals, and TotSpot handled the money so neither side had to worry about getting scammed. Poshmark acquired TotSpot in October 2016, not long after our original review went up, and TotSpot stopped operating as its own standalone app afterward.

As of this writing, there’s no TotSpot app to download — a search of both the App Store and Google Play under the TotSpot name turns up nothing but unrelated apps that happen to share the name (a restaurant finder, a kids’ activity app). TotSpot’s own domains (totspot.com and mytotspot.com) both run the same bare redirect script straight to a parking page, the classic footprint of an abandoned domain. Between the app-store delisting, the parked domains, and the 2016 acquisition, this one’s been gone a long time.

For secondhand kids’ (and adult) clothing today, ThredUp is the marketplace we’d recommend — it’s a large, actively maintained resale platform that still runs a new-customer discount. If you specifically want the closet-swap, sell-your-own-listings feel TotSpot had, Poshmark — the company that acquired TotSpot — is also worth a look, since it’s built around individual sellers the same way TotSpot was.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is TotSpot still around?

No. TotSpot was acquired by Poshmark in 2016 and no longer operates as its own app — it’s delisted from the App Store and Google Play, and its domains redirect to a parking page.

Does the CFZCMD code still work?

No — there’s no active TotSpot app left for a code to apply to. We’re keeping it here for historical reference only.

What should I use instead of TotSpot?

ThredUp is our top pick for secondhand kids’ clothing today, with an active new-customer discount. Poshmark, which acquired TotSpot, is also worth trying if you want a closet-based resale marketplace.

Did Poshmark keep the TotSpot app running?

No — TotSpot’s technology and team were folded into Poshmark after the 2016 acquisition, but the standalone TotSpot app itself didn’t continue as its own product.
