Club W Complimentary Bottle Promo Code

What Happened to Club W?

Club W didn’t shut down — it rebranded. The company changed its name to Winc in 2015-2016, keeping the same curated-wine-club concept: a taste quiz that steers a monthly (or on-demand) selection of wines toward what you’re likely to enjoy, starting at a per-bottle price rather than a flat box fee. Winc later filed for bankruptcy protection and changed ownership in 2022-2023, and now operates under Full Glass Wine Co — a completely different company from the also-defunct “FullGlass” drinks app we cover separately, despite the similar name. Winc.com is live and taking orders today.

Housekeeping note: this page originally linked out through a ShareASale tracking URL for the Club W offer. We checked it directly and it now returns “this link is inactive” — the old Club W-specific affiliate campaign is dead, which tracks with the rebrand. We haven’t removed the historical reference, but we’ve replaced it as the working call-to-action with our current, functioning Winc link below.

Back when this page covered Club W directly, we went through the sign-up questionnaire ourselves — a short quiz about wine preferences, similar to the taste-profile approach Winc still uses today. We liked that it narrowed down choices instead of leaving us guessing in a wine aisle full of options. One practical note that’s probably still true: wine shipments need an adult signature, so it’s worth having deliveries sent somewhere a grown-up will actually be around to sign, like a workplace rather than an empty house.
