Curb App Review
Curb has a different feel from Uber or Lyft — it connects licensed taxi drivers to riders through the app, rather than everyday drivers using their personal cars. That means you get a professional, commercially-licensed driver who knows the city, while still booking and paying the way you would with any rideshare app.
Taxi drivers on Curb tend to be a little less chatty than the average rideshare driver, but they know the streets. Just don’t expect them to necessarily be running Waze or Google Maps live in the front seat — some taxi drivers still lean on older GPS units, which can matter in heavy traffic. If your driver seems to be taking a longer route, it’s worth speaking up.
A $5 credit won’t cover an entire ride most places, but it takes a real bite out of a short trip, or knocks a few dollars off a longer one.
