What Was Everlay Mattress?

Everlay was a Southern California mattress startup founded by childhood friends Ryan Kraus and Johnathon Mikhail, who between them had roughly a century of family experience in the mattress industry plus backgrounds in accounting and finance. The pitch was familiar for the era: skip the brick-and-mortar markup and sell a CertiPUR-US foam mattress — free of heavy metals, phthalates, and chemical flame retardants — direct to the customer online.

That was 2017. Everlay was one of dozens of bed-in-a-box brands that launched in the same few years as Casper and Leesa, competing on price and foam formulas in an increasingly crowded market. Most of them didn’t make it to the 2020s as standalone companies, and Everlay appears to be one of the ones that didn’t.

Two independent checks point the same direction. First, everlay.com no longer has any mattress content — it now describes itself as “Everlay Group,” a venture-capital and business-advisory firm, with zero reference to mattresses, foam, or a referral program. Second, our own tracked link (http://www.topdownreviews.com/out/everlay/, preserved here for the record) now resolves to an Awin closedMerchant.html page, which is Awin’s own confirmation that the advertiser’s affiliate program has been shut down on their end. We also couldn’t find an alternate domain (everlaymattress.com, everlaysleep.com, and similar all come back unregistered) where the brand might have moved. That combination — no live site, no live affiliate program, no successor domain — is why we’re treating Everlay as discontinued rather than just “hard to verify.”
