What Happened to Fingbox?
Fingbox was a small plug-in device that sat on your home network and gave you visibility into every device connected to it — plus the ability to pause internet access to specific devices, get intrusion alerts, and run speed/security checks. Fing (the company) built it as the hardware companion to their network-scanning app.
As of our last check, we can’t find evidence Fingbox is still being sold: the EU storefront this page pointed to (fingbox.eu) no longer resolves at all, the US storefront (fingbox.myshopify.com) returns a “page not found,” and Fing’s current website — where a Fingbox product page used to live — now shows an unrelated software product at that same web address. Fing’s current lineup (Fing Desktop, Fing Mobile, Fing Agent, Fing Web) is entirely software: a free tier plus Premium and Professional subscriptions. There’s no hardware device in it anywhere.
In short: the company is alive and apparently doing fine, it just isn’t in the hardware business anymore.

What Actually Monitors Your Network Now
Fing’s own software picked up where Fingbox left off, minus the dedicated box. As of our last check, Fing offers a free plan for basic network scanning, plus paid tiers (roughly €7-8/month for continuous monitoring and a full event timeline, and a higher tier for multi-user/advanced features) that run on a phone, desktop, or a small always-on device like a Raspberry Pi via their Fing Agent software. We don’t have a working affiliate link for Fing’s software products, so this is informational rather than a promo — check Fing’s own site directly for current plan pricing.
