inKind is a free app for paying your restaurant bill from your phone. At a participating restaurant, bar or café you open the app, find your check, add a tip and pay with the card you’ve linked. The restaurant then gives you back a percentage of what you paid, up to 20%, as inKind Cash Back to spend on a later visit anywhere on the network. inKind lists more than 10,000 participating venues across the US, and the app is rated 4.9 on the App Store from over 100,000 ratings.

How to Use the inKind Referral Code UEVXY8F9
Open the invite link first. Tap Claim Discount Now at the top of this page. The link carries code UEVXY8F9. inKind’s help center says the link has to be opened before you create your account. Sign up first and click later, and the reward won’t attach.
Enter your phone number and tap Claim. The invite page asks for your number, then sends you on to download the app.

Create your account and link a card. The account has to be your first inKind account. The terms bar opening extra accounts to collect more rewards.
Check your Rewards tab. The $25 shows up there, not in your wallet balance. Note the expiry date on the offer (more on that below).
Pay a $50+ check through the app. At a participating restaurant, find your check in inKind, apply the offer at checkout and close the check in the app. It has to be applied before you pay, because inKind can’t add an offer to a check that’s already closed.
inKind Referral Code: What We Verified
As of September 2026, we loaded inKind’s own invite page for code UEVXY8F9. It loads as a live referral and offers “$25 off your next $50+ meal”, valid for new members only. inKind’s help center describes the same reward, “typically $25 toward a $50+ purchase”. Referral amounts can change, and inKind notes that bonuses rise during some promotions, so treat the figures here as current at last check.
What we couldn’t pin down is how long the $25 lasts. The invite page says the offer “can be used anytime”. inKind’s help center says most promotional offers expire within 30 days of being claimed. Those don’t agree, so check the date on the offer in your Rewards tab and plan the meal inside it. If a deadline is close, inKind’s help center says support can sometimes extend an offer, though that isn’t guaranteed.
Who Can Use It, and the Fine Print
- New members only. If you’ve ever had an inKind account, the code won’t work. Only one referral counts per account.
- One offer per check. The $25 can’t be combined with another offer or with a prepaid inKind balance on the same bill, even if you split the check.
- Tips and fees aren’t covered. Gratuity, service charges and delivery fees are charged to your card separately.
- Cash Back runs on a clock. It expires at the end of the second month after your last qualifying visit, so a January 10 visit keeps it alive until March 31. Every inKind visit resets that clock.
- Coverage varies by city. Browse the restaurant map in the app before you plan a meal around the offer.

What the $25 Is Worth on a Real Check
The $50 minimum is counted before tax and tip. A $46 dinner that comes to $50.14 with tax doesn’t qualify, but a $50 food and drink subtotal does.
Take a $60 dinner for two with 9% sales tax. The check is $65.40. With the $25 off, you pay $40.40 through inKind. The tip never comes out of an inKind balance or offer, so a 20% tip on the $60 ($12) goes on your card separately. You’d normally spend $77.40 on that meal. With the code you spend $52.40, about a third less.
That same meal can also earn Cash Back, but only on the part that goes on your card. inKind’s terms say you earn nothing on the portion paid with a discount or a balance, or on the tip. At a restaurant offering the full 20%, that’s up to about $8 back on the $40.40, as credit for a later inKind visit rather than cash.

Usually not. inKind’s help center says the referral has to be claimed when the account is created. If you clicked a link but the reward didn’t appear, support can sometimes add a replacement $25 offer, so it’s worth asking.
Does the $25 cover tax and tip?
Tax, yes. Tip, no. The $25 comes off the part of the check inKind collects, which is food, drinks and tax. The tip is always a separate charge on your card.
Does inKind cost anything?
The app and a standard account are free, and you don’t need a subscription to use the referral code. inKind also sells an optional paid membership called inKind Pass.
