My Koala Mattress Review: The Bed
Lucky for the CouponSuck team that they had an Aussie in their midst. One that stays in Australia a lot, no less!
I was more than happy to do a Koala Mattress review. I found a friend who’d already ordered one (sadly they missed using the $100 discount here). They told me a bit about the experience. It was shipped straight to their house, and arrived in a compact box. A lot like the other Mattress in a Box companies we’ve reviewed. Cute packaging, from the photos I’ve seen.
He opened it up and left it to expand a few hours. I stayed in his guest room about a month after he first received it.
My overall comments on the bed are positive. My small negatives: It was firmer than I was used to, but still had a nice bit of softness at the top. It did retain a tiny bit of heat, but it was winter when I visited so it didn’t bother me much. Might be less awesome in the summer. But overall a great mattress for a great price. I woke up feeling great every morning I was there, so I can’t really complain!
I do intend to try out the GreyWing mattress next time I’m in Oz. That way I can do a proper comparison of Mattress in a Box places in Australia. Stay tuned!
