Surkus Referral Code

Surkus was a “crowd-casting” app that paid users in cash or credit for attending sponsored events and posting about brands on social media, and its referral program used to hand out a $5 bonus with a code like J22BL. At last check, that program is gone: surkus.com no longer resolves to the Surkus site at all (it now forwards through unrelated ad-tech domains), and we couldn’t find a current Surkus listing on the Apple App Store or Google Play — both return “not found.” The service appears to be discontinued.

What Was Surkus?

Surkus connected brands with everyday people who wanted free event tickets, products, or cash in exchange for showing up somewhere and posting about it — a sort of crowdsourced influencer marketing app. New users who signed up with a referral code like J22BL got a $5 credit toward their account balance, which could be cashed out or applied to future “gigs.”

That’s no longer available. The old surkus.com domain doesn’t serve a Surkus site anymore — it now redirects through a chain of unrelated marketing domains that have nothing to do with the original app. We also couldn’t find a current Surkus app listing on either the Apple App Store or Google Play. Taken together, that’s a strong signal the service has shut down.

We’re leaving this page up since people still search for the Surkus referral code, and honesty matters more to us than a stale link. The code above is what Surkus’s referral program used to offer — we can’t confirm it still works, and our own outbound link for it now lands on a generic app-link redirect rather than a live offer.

We can’t confirm that it does. The site it relied on no longer loads as a Surkus page, so treat this as a legacy code rather than a working offer.
