Why We’re Confirming 548573 Specifically

We’ve published a few CakeDefi pages over the years, and not all of them use the same code — an older one used 330811 instead. 548573 is the code embedded in our current sign-up link, so if you’re trying to figure out which of our codes is actually “the real one,” it’s this one. It just happens to arrive at a moment when the whole program is paused.

Cake DeFi became Bake in June 2023 as part of a restructuring into Cake Group, and ownership changed again in December 2024 when GS Technologies Ltd acquired the platform; founders Julian Hosp and U-Zyn Chua are no longer involved. Then, on March 28, 2026, Bake announced that crypto-asset trading and deposit services would be suspended starting April 15, 2026, while it works to secure a MiCA license in Poland — with no announced reopening date.

Withdrawals are still being processed normally, and existing crypto balances were converted to USD at the suspension date. New deposits — the step any referral bonus depends on — simply aren’t possible right now.
