$50 Cake Defi Referral Code: 548573

Cake DeFi is now called Bake, and as of this writing Bake has suspended crypto-asset trading and deposits (effective April 15, 2026, indefinitely, while it works toward a European MiCA license), which means the sign-up bonus tied to the Cake Defi Referral Code 548573 isn’t currently claimable — you can’t deposit new crypto to trigger it. We’re leaving this code and page up because people are still searching for it, but if you want a working crypto bonus right now, our Nexo referral code is live and paying out today.

What Happened to Cake DeFi?

Cake DeFi was a Singapore-based platform for earning cashflow on crypto through staking, lending, and liquidity mining. In June 2023 the company rebranded its retail product to Bake, folding under a new parent, Cake Group. Then in December 2024, GS Technologies Ltd acquired the business; the original founders, Julian Hosp and U-Zyn Chua, no longer run it.

The bigger change: on March 28, 2026, Bake officially announced it was suspending crypto-asset trading and deposit services starting April 15, 2026, pending a MiCA license in Poland. Existing crypto balances were converted to USD on that date, and the platform currently only processes withdrawals — no new deposits, and no timeline for when (or if) that changes. That’s the same mechanism a Cake Defi Referral Code bonus depends on, so right now, entering 548573 doesn’t unlock anything.

For anyone curious what this page originally covered (and in case deposits reopen), here’s how the offer worked before the suspension:

What to Do Instead Right Now

Since Bake isn’t accepting new crypto deposits, your best bet for an actual working crypto sign-up bonus today is a platform that’s still open for business. We track Nexo’s referral bonus — a 30-day Platinum-tier trial plus up to $2,500 in NEXO tokens once you deposit $5,000+ and hold it 30 days — which was live and verified as of July 2026. If Bake resumes deposits, we’ll update this page and reactivate the guidance above.

How the Cake Defi Referral Code Bonus Used to Work

Referrers also earned an ongoing 1% annual share of their referrals’ account balances, paid out yearly — a nice long-tail incentive that made the program popular on Reddit and elsewhere back when it was active.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Cake Defi Referral Code 548573 still work?

The code itself is still valid in the sense that it’s tied to our account, but it can’t currently trigger a bonus because Bake (formerly Cake DeFi) suspended new crypto deposits on April 15, 2026. There’s no deposit to make, so there’s no bonus to earn until that changes.

Is Cake DeFi the same company as Bake?

Yes. Cake DeFi rebranded to Bake in June 2023. The company was later acquired by GS Technologies in December 2024, and the original founders are no longer involved. If you had a Cake DeFi account, you can log into it at bake.io with the same credentials.

Why did Bake suspend crypto trading?

Per Bake’s own announcement, it’s a regulatory move: the company is working to obtain a MiCA license in Poland (the EU’s crypto licensing framework) and chose to pause crypto-asset trading and deposits on April 15, 2026 rather than wait for an authorized deadline of June 30, 2026, to give customers clearer notice to manage their funds.

Can I still withdraw money from my existing Cake DeFi/Bake account?

Yes. Bake says withdrawals continue to be processed under standard rules and fees — it’s only new deposits and crypto-asset trading that are paused. Existing crypto balances, including Smart Bundles, were converted to USD as of April 15, 2026.

When was this page last checked?

We checked Bake’s official announcements, site banners, and referral pages directly in July 2026. This is a fast-moving situation, so if you’re reading this later, double-check bake.io before assuming anything above still applies.
