What happened to Handtown Design?

Handtown Design was a small independent shop selling custom and pre-made phone cases (hard plastic, soft plastic, clear, matte, glitter, and fully custom designs). Our old referral link (/out/handtown/) pointed to handtowndesign.com, but that domain no longer resolves at all — it doesn’t return an error page, it simply doesn’t exist anymore, which along with the total absence of any Handtown Design presence elsewhere online (no active social accounts, no marketplace listing we could find) is why we’re treating this brand as discontinued rather than just temporarily down. We’re leaving the old link in place in case that changes, but we wouldn’t expect it to work today.

We used to point readers here to Desket, another small customization shop selling phone cases, mugs, and other custom-printed items. As of July 2026, that pivot is also broken — desket.co now resolves to a parked domain-for-sale page, the same signal we saw with Handtown Design itself. We’re leaving the /out/desket link in place for the record, but don’t expect a working store behind it. If you want a bigger, well-known designer-phone-case brand, Casetify is worth a look — its site is live, though we haven’t independently re-verified our link or a specific discount there recently, so treat it as a lead rather than a confirmed offer.
