Kindred Referral Code LUC.FAI2

Kindred coordinates a professional cleaning before and after every stay, and two members who swap at the same time exchange no credits at all — they only pay for the cleanings. Every member verifies their identity and their home before traveling.

If you type the code by hand rather than using the link, it is LUC.FAI2, with a period in the middle. Kindred’s codes are formatted that way, and the lowercase luc.fai2 you may see in an invite URL is the same code.

• The code is live. Kindred’s invite page loads it by name and greets you with “We’re so glad Lucy referred you,” alongside a button reading “Apply with Lucy’s code.”
• The code pays the person who referred you, not you. Kindred’s FAQ is specific: “You will earn 2 credits when the member you refer uploads photos to verify their home.” Those two credits go to the referrer, and only after your home is verified.
• The five starting credits come with membership, not with the code. Kindred’s FAQ says there are “only 3 ways to earn credits,” and the first is that newly accepted members unlock five starting credits once they complete ID verification, verify their home profile and add hosting availability. Using someone’s code is not on that list.
• Credits cannot be bought. Kindred states they “do not have any assigned monetary value and cannot be purchased or sold,” and they cannot be gifted to another member either.
• Kindred publishes no service fee rate card. Its FAQ says only that “Service fees vary, and you’ll always see the exact fee before you confirm your booking.”

What we could not verify: whether an invite code moves you up the waitlist or speeds up approval. Several pages promoting Kindred codes claim it does, and Kindred publishes nothing that says so either way. We also could not confirm the service or cleaning fee for any particular city and date, because Kindred only quotes those inside a booking. Offers can change without notice.

What a Kindred Trip Actually Costs

Kindred’s own cost calculator prices five nights in New York at five credits plus $200 in service fees and $300 in cleaning, so $500 in cash. That is $100 a night on top of the five credits. Kindred’s blog prices the same city for two weeks at $755. Those nine extra nights therefore add $255, about $28 a night, because the cleaning fee is charged once per trip rather than once per night. Kindred’s own summary of this is “The longer you stay in a destination, the better the deal,” and its published member trips follow the pattern: Paris for seven nights at $350, Lisbon for fourteen at $490.

If you travel enough, the Kindred Passport waives service fees for a year. It costs $600 up front, or four quarterly installments of $165 — which is $660, so paying quarterly costs $60 more for the same twelve months. It does not touch cleaning fees, and Kindred does not refund any portion of it once paid. Against that New York service fee of $200 for five nights, the Passport takes about three trips to pay for itself, which lines up with Kindred’s own guidance that it “makes good sense if you take more than two Kindred trips per year.”
